Pablo is making ramps of different lengths. The ramps are made with rectangular and square wooden boards. The relationship between the length of the ramp in feet, f(n), and the number of square boards used, n, is represented by the function below. f(n) = 20n + 3 , where 2 ≤ n ≤ 6 Which statement is correct about the range of the length of the ramp for the given domain?

OpenStudy (jenniferjuice):

It varies from 2 to 6. It varies from 43 to 123. It varies from 40 to 120. It varies from 2 to 123.

Pablo... it would be a hispanic person bulding everything and doing all the work!

OpenStudy (johnweldon1993):

"The relationship between the length of the ramp in feet, f(n), and the number of square boards used, n, is represented by the function below." This says that 'n' is the number of square boards used... and that f(n) *meaning the equation* is the length... so your question asks about the length so you know it has to do with the equation.....so you would plug in those 2 numbers you are given 2 ≤ n ≤ 6 so take 2 and 6...and plug those into your equation...and you will see that the length varies from 20(2) + 3 = ...? to 20(6) + 3 = ...?
