can somebody please answer the question in the comments that has been bugging me?
d
it should technically be 126-30=b but with that equation you can solve for b
so im confused now is it b or d?
you see, Oscar is a spendthrift, he's been borrowing from Lucille for a while now and owes her "b" already so now he's borrowing YET $30 more, on top of what he already borrowed, "b amount" so we don't know how much he's been borrowing, but we now know that after the $30 he just borrowed from Lucille, he owes her $126
before borrowing $30 from her, he owed her "b" after borrowing $30 from her, he owed her, "b + 30" which we now know is $126
AHHHHHHHH okay now i see! thank you @jdoe0001 for explaining and @rick11772 for the answer , you two are awesome!
