Question

Do eyelids overlap when you close and open your eyes, or do they go in the skull (forgot the proper name..) Or does it depend on the person?

no eyelids slide over cornea and eyeball to cover it like a curtain....the eyes are already in pits called orbit in skull...they are still present when eyelids close where they are..

@shawn123 What I'm asking is like, how do eyelids form? I thought saying when you open and close would make more sense at the time... Like how people with monolids use double eyelid tape , and sort of overlap the eyelids, is that how people with natural double eyelids are? Or does the eyelid like, tuck into the socket?
