Is the line x=-1 perpindicular to the line y=6

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes any line \[y=a,x=b\] are always perpendicular since one has gradient 0 and the other is v=undefined(vertical)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

lines are perpendicular wen the slopes are opposite reciprocals. so say the slope of one line is 4. the perpendicular slope would have to be -1over 4
