If the point (-1, 3) is translated according to the rule (x, y) → (x + 4, y – 2), and then reflected across the x-axis, what are the coordinates of the final resulting image?

reflecting across the x-axis is a translation according to the rule $$(x,y)\rightarrow(x,-y)$$

$(-1,3)\rightarrow(-1+4,3-2)\rightarrow(-1+4,-(3-2)) =$

you could also combine the two translations: $(x,y)\rightarrow(x+4,y-2)\rightarrow(x+4,-(y-2)) = (x,y)\rightarrow(x+4,2-y)$Should get the same result.
