Hello there I need help with another question Simplify: 3radical 125 + 6 radical 20 ok so I got 3 radical 25 and rad 5 + 6 radical 4 and radical 5 I need help to figure out the rest

OpenStudy (anonymous):

radical 125 can be simplified to 5 radical 5 so multiply the 5 outside the radical with the 3 and radical 20 can be 2 radical 5 so multiply the 2 outside the radical with the 6

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I do not understand \[the equation is 3\sqrt{?}125 + 6 \sqrt{?}20 \]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

the way that my tutor taught me was to simplify the radicals by numbers that make yp that radical so for 125 I chose 25 and 5 and for the 26 I chose 4 and 5

OpenStudy (anonymous):

and then after that I forgot what he did

you are correct but you have to keep going because |dw:1373904798636:dw|
