Review the water cycle diagram below. What effect would removing the precipitation stage have on this environment?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OpenStudy (anonymous):

There would be little snow and ice accumulation on the mountains. There would be more evapotranspiration in the atmosphere. There would be less water in the nearby oceans or bodies of water. There would be increased surface runoff and groundwater discharge.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OK, first: do you know what happens during the precipitation stage?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i forgot :/

OpenStudy (anonymous):

it's basically rain or snow :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

So based on that, which one do you think it would be, @SwampKing_ ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

A?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yep. At least, I'm pretty sure you're right. Technically there would also be less water in bodies of water, but I think A would be the biggest effect. :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yeah...it woud be A, I remember doing this @SwampKing_ :D! Do you do to www.flvs.net
