O = Original price
P = End Price

wait 112.72 isnt
OpenStudy (caitlinnr14):
a choice?
OpenStudy (anonymous):
118.65
OpenStudy (anonymous):
because of 5% sales tax. 5%=0.05
So the orginal price times sales tax should give you the difference between the orginial and the afterprice
OpenStudy (caitlinnr14):
tht ok @JA1

Exactly, just like in real life (america) we have a 7% tax, but we calculate it as 0.007

OpenStudy (anonymous):
@JA1 7% tax is not 0.007 it's 0.07 becaues 7/100=0.07
OpenStudy (ja1):
Yes thats what I meant xD I always mix them up, once I was shopping and had a big order so I calculated the tax and got like 100 so I was like "Wait a second" lol
