As you can see.....y=2x, y=4x and y=8x are not true from the table.

to vary directly means to increase as it increases
as x gets bigger, y gets bigger; so there is some direct variance at play
if the ratio between x and y is the same for each point; then you will know the constant of variation
looks to be a ration of 8/11 = x/y
y = (11/8)x
1.3 ... id go the 3rd option
