differential equations exact equations problem help we tried on this site for 2 hours yesterday and got no where! please help!
\[M=(ye^{xy}-1/y)\] partial derivative \[\delta M / \delta y=1/y^2\] my question is what happens to the ye^xy can someone explain how it becomes 0?
I know how the 1/y^2 comes that is just the derivative. but the e is killing me!
Doesn't seem right to me though.
wow ok lol
it's what I get too, but I try to double check it again, I was a bit lazy to be honest and asked the wolf first before computing it on my own, give me 2-3 minutes.
we tried solving this problem for like 2 1/2 hours last night here and no one could help
this is the full problem from exact equations section differential equations class
