Meiosis is responsible for Making two identical daughter cells Making one small cell and one large cell Making specialized sex cells Making cells that are nothing like the parent cell
"Meiosis" is one of the two types of cell division that we talk about, in bio class. Meiosis is the type of cell division that sex cells (gametes) undergo. Men and women have different types of sex cells. In men, it's sperm. In women, it's eggs. The other type of cell division is mitosis. That's how all of our other cells divide. Like our skin cells and nerve cells and whatnot.
Oh by the way, if you have anymore questions like this one, try posting in the Biology section. This section is for Social Sciences. Like psychology and anthropology.
