How does psychological warfare today compare to psychological warfare during the Cold War

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@JimmyC

OpenStudy (anonymous):

So psychological warfare is basically propaganda, playing to people's fears etc, etc right?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Who’s side would you be on the US or the USSR?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Whatever side doesn't blow up the whole world. Whenever you try and narrow things down "what team would you be on" it makes everything black in white, when it reality, there's a lot of gray area.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Do you think the cold war was necessary?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I don't think it was necessary, but I think it was inevitable. It's difficult for their to be 2 global super powers, and it's just natural for the two most powerful to go against each other in the end, especially when the ideology is so different.
