help? (been Stuck on this one a while now) A company states that the ratio of the number of people that prefer its brand of toothpaste to another brand is 4 to 2. a. Is this a part-to-part ratio or a part-to-whole ratio? b. Describe in words what the ratio means. c. What is another way to write the ratio? d. What is the simplified form?

I think its a part to whole ratio. b. for every six people, 4 out of six people liked it. c. 4:6(I think) d. to simplify 4:2, divide both by two, getting 2:1. I think that's how you do it. O_o
