need help on problems minimum and maximum y 2x^2 +7x + 6=0 how do I determine which one is which
If the leading term is positive, then the quadratic equation will have a minimum If the leading term is negative, then the quadratic equation will have a maximum.
And of course, use \(\large x = -\frac{b}{2a}\) to find the x coordinate of the vertex. Then substitute the value of x into the quadratic expression to find the y value.
