Which of the following is the simplified form of y^2-y-12/y^2-9?
you can factor something out of both the top and bottom, can you find this?
the top factors out to : (y-4)(y+3) the bottom: (y+3)(y-3) cancel the y+3's the simplified form is (y-4)/(y-3)
