Why was US divided into North and South? Its because North doesn't want slavery, but South does.

It DID have to do with slavery, but that wasn't the only reason. The North and South were also divided because the North relied on industry and factories and stuff, and the South relied on agriculture, especially cotton. Also, Northerners tended to support a strong federal government, because it worked well with their economy (industrial.) However, Southerners were typically more distrustful of the government, and felt that the federal government was favoring the North and sort of "phasing out" the economy in the South.
