you roll two dice. What is the probability that the sum of the dice is odd and one dice is a five?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

So for die 1 + die 2 = odd possibilities of die 1 &2 { 1+2 , 1+4, 1+6, 2+3, 2+5, 3+4, 3+6, 4+5, 5+6} than you can flip these so times 2. you get 9 out comes. If one has to be a five than exclude the ones that don't have a 5 in it. You get 3 x 2 = 6. Total out come of 2 dice = 6 x 6 = 36 so the answer would be like 6/36 or 1/6. I think.....
