the one that looks like this: http://www.wolframalpha.com/input/?i=cos%28x%29

OpenStudy (anonymous):

we don't have one like that

jimthompson5910 (jim_thompson5910):

hint: cos(0) = 1

OpenStudy (anonymous):

would it be the third one?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

sure you do! i can see it without opening them

jimthompson5910 (jim_thompson5910):

in the third one it's going through (0,0) so that is implying that cos(0) = 0, which is false when it should be cos(0) = 1

OpenStudy (anonymous):

what @jim_thompson5910 said make sure it goes through the point \((0,1)\) on the graph i.e. it crosses the \(y\)-axis at 1

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ohhh so the second one since it goes through the 1 ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yup

OpenStudy (anonymous):

okay thanks :)
