Which polynomial has a greatest common factor of 3x2? A. 33x4 y - 18x3 + 12x2 B. 15x2 y - 21xy2 + 27y C. 27x5 y3 + 16x3 y2 - 3x2 y D. 18x2 y3 - 25x2 y + 12x2

OpenStudy (swissgirl):

Firstly each terms has to have an x in it So for example B : 15x^2-21xy^2+27y we see that 27y doesnt have an x in that particular term so 3x^2 cant be a greatest common factor

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so what would it be then ?

OpenStudy (swissgirl):

it wld be A
