Assume a wheel is fixed to the arm of the record next to the needle and that it is in direct contact with the record's surface so that is is spinning as the record turns. Does the angular velocity of the wheel get larger, smaller, or remain the same as the record plays? Explain your answer using mathematics. Suppose the wheel from problem c has a diameter of 2". Determine a formula that gives its angular velocity as a function of time. Assume time t=0 is when you start playing the record.
