Using Newton's Method for f(x)=(9/4)x^3+(3/4)x^2+4 I said that using xsub1=0 is not an acceptable starting value because I evaluated f '(0) and f(0) and you get 0-4/0. I'm supposed to explain why or why not. Is this an acceptable explanation? If this is not an acceptable starting value I'm also supposed to state what information I gained and what might be an acceptable starting value. Any hints would be appreciated.
