Always remember that NCERT has the best 'basics' explanation for everything.
For physics, use Halliday-Resnick-Krane, or University Physics.
For organic, use Solomon, or Morrison-Boyd, or OP Tandon.
Inorganic - NCERT is enough.
Physical - P Bahadur and NCERT
Maths - ML Khanna is good. Use SL Loney, Hall and Knight.


Please do NOT buy any of the books without having a look at them, and using them for sometime. They may or may not be useful for you.

well basically the NCERT textbooks are the master books for any Entranc exam , always be thorough with it
