in circle tangent are perpendicular to the radius or the diameter of the circle but in this case EF is not the diameter that's for sure cause arc EF is given 176 degree wchich means the cord EF is 4 degree aaway from the diameter right ?

and we lknow that tangent is always 90 degree with diameter . then the angle DEF = 90-4 = 86 degree !
