okay i got the distance which it is 38499*10^15 but how am I suppose to know if it is reasonable? Compute the distance Erica will run if she continues using the formula, y = 3(1.1)x, for 52 weeks (one year). Does this distance seem reasonable? yes no

@vinnv226 please help me

Can you give any more information on this function? For example, what do y and x represent, including units?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

x=days later y=distance in miles?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Ok, so: \[52 weeks = 52 \times 7 days=364 days\]Plug in 364 for x in the equation: \[3(1.1)x\] \[3.3x\] \[3.3(364)=1201.2 miles\]Assuming your equation is written correctly.

yea but how would u know if its a reasonable distance? @vinnv226
