ok, so difference is -12 a_1+ (-12) *30

i am really not understanding how you set that up.

always remember this setup a_n= a_1+ d (n-1) so if your case n=31 a_31= a_1+ (-12) (30)

i got -361.. but that's not in the answer choices.
