Mathematics 13 Online
OpenStudy (goformit100):

Solve: 3(x + 4) greater than or equal to x - 2 x greater than or equal to -7 x greater than or equal to 7 x less than or greater to -7 x greater than or equal to -3

OpenStudy (whpalmer4):

\[3(x+4) \ge x-2\]Expand it \[3x+12 \ge x-2\]Now subtract \(x\) from both sides, subtract 12 from both sides, giving you \(x\) term on the left and numeric term on the right. If there's a number in front of \(x\), divide both sides by that number, changing the direction of the inequality if the number is negative.

OpenStudy (goformit100):

What's the correct answer.

OpenStudy (whpalmer4):

Do those steps and it should be right in front of you...
