OK ! the equation is : \[8-2x^2=(x+2)^2-7\] So, we expend the brackets first : \[8-2x^2=x^2+4x+4-7\] so : \[8-2x^2=x^2+4x-3\] The we transform all the terms in the right side to the left side \[8-2x^2-x^2-4x+3=0\] So : \[-3x^2-4x+11=0\]
