cos theta - 1 =0

OpenStudy (anonymous):

\(\cos(\theta)=1\) is a start

OpenStudy (unklerhaukus):

what is the question?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I believe this is my way of explaining ALL odd multiples of pi cos(theta) +1 = 0 =>cos(theta)= -1=cos(pi) =>(theta)= 2n(pi)+pi n = 0,1,2,3,4...............................… =>(theta)= pi,3(pi),5(pi),7(pi)....................…

OpenStudy (anonymous):

find all solutions to the equation. write your answer in radians in terms of pi. Then they have a whole bunch simples like\[k \in Z\]

OpenStudy (unklerhaukus):

\[k\in\mathbb Z\] mean that k is a integer ie \(k=\{...,-3,-2,-1,0,1,2,3,...\}\)
