Quad ABCD ~ Quad EFGD is the similarity statement for these two quadrilaterals.

By definition of similarity, corresponding sides of similar figures are in proportion.

Therefore,

AB/EF = BC/FG = CD/GD = DA/DE

which gives

as the correct proportion
