help pleaseee!!!
@Harkirat
combine like terms. u know how?
kinda
This one is similar to one that I already helped you with. add and subtract the numbers and the add all the exponents for t
5-8?
start with putting negitives together. it makes it easier. (5t^7-8t^3+8t^2+4)+(8t^6+4t^3-8t)
basically u add the negatives?
right 5t^7+8t^2+4+8t^6+4t^3-16t^4
Then add the positives together
@Kaylei104 I thought you add like terms?
that is what i've been doing if you wait for my to give the answer you would see that
ohhh ok :)
13t^9+4+12t^9- 16t^4 4+25t^18-16t^4 4+9t^22
@Kaylei104 why wouldnt it be this: simplified 5t^7+8t^6-4t^3+8t^2-8t+4 because i thought if it didnt have the same ^# then you could not combine them ? how do you just add them to get 9t^22, if that rule is true? I am not trying to be rude, it just seems like you know math so I want to know :)
The rule that you are talking about is applied is multiplication and division not adding and subtraction.
@Kaylei104 but read under "Like Variables-Unlike Exponents" http://www.ehow.com/info_8621373_rules-adding-variables-exponents.html
\[\left(5 t^7-8 t^3+8 t^2+4\right)+\left(8t^6+4 t^3-8t\right)=5 t^7+8 t^6-4 t^3+8 t^2-8 t+4 \]
