Is it possible that, on a fx-115Es PLUS that you can insert a matrix bigger than a 3x3?

OpenStudy (primeralph):

No.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Great -_-, do you know a calculator that does?

OpenStudy (primeralph):

TI-Nspire.

OpenStudy (primeralph):

I can't say if others do, but that's the calculator I use.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Oh, isn;t that the one that can do polynomial multiplication like if you do x^2 times x it gives x^3, ik that's basic but Im trying to do sequences and I have to set up multiple equations and solve for a b c and d and I can't do rref mode by hand :O

OpenStudy (primeralph):

Yeah, that's if you get the CAS version. The non-CAS can solve equations too. On my CAS. I can solve as many as I want. Far more than 4 variables.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

and what about TI-89 Titanium?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

and why dont you acccept messageS?

OpenStudy (primeralph):

TI-89 Titanium seems good (and should be able to do such calculations) from what I heard; but it's nothing like the NSpire.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Ok, now I read you can't use this on the ACT but you can use it on every else like a SAT/AP, so what do you recommened in its place?

OpenStudy (primeralph):

ACT will never have you solve more than 2 equations if any. You can get the TI Npsire; just not the CAS edition for the ACT. It's on their website.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OK can you tell me the different versions they have so i dont get confused, I know theres a CAS/ non CAS, a teachers edition but i think i saw another one it said CX, idk are there anymore and if so what is the difference witht them?

OpenStudy (primeralph):

CX is the color screen version. CAS means it can do stuff like x+x = 2x. TI NSpire is just a normal calculator that can do lots of advanced stuff. No color, no "x+x = 2x" TI NSpire CAS is just like the above, but has the algebra function. TI NSpire CX is just a TI NSpire with color screen and a few extra features. TI NSpire CX CAS is the TI NSpire CAS with color screen. This is the most advanced. TI NSpire CX CAS > TI NSpire CAS > TI NSpire CX >TI NSpire

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thats cool so which one do you have?

OpenStudy (primeralph):

TI NSpire CX CAS

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Of course, what wqas the cheapest price for that?

OpenStudy (primeralph):

$120-$160 New. Get it from ebay for a good deal. The price will hardly drop. I bought mine $140 in 2011.
