OpenStudy (summersnow8):

This graph is a graph of the hanging weight (mg) vs. acceleration (a): -there are error bars that I have drawn to indicate the range of acceleration that each hanging weight represents -the three lines that I drew, are 1) the best fit line, 2) a higher slope, 3) a lower slope -where the lines hit the y-axis represents the force of friction which I found to be 1) 0.039, 2) 0.012, and 3) 0.054 -then I found the slopes of each line which was 1) 1.71, 2) 1.66, and 3) 1.64 Now I am confused on this next question:

OpenStudy (summersnow8):

#1: just looking at the force diagram, was the tension in the string equal to, higher than, or lower than the falling hanging weight? Why?
