I am a master plumber working on parking garage structures in which waste and stormwater piping has minimal vertical clearance to install. Pipe beginning elevation, grade and discharge end elevation is critical. Does anyone know if 2 dimensional plans can be entered into AutoCAD MEP and if and how vertical elevations of piping runs be added, to see if end to end distance of pipe runs will be sufficient to maintain sufficient slope (such 1/4" per foot).

yes you can do that, i have done such things on my mac with AuroCAD 2012

I am on a pc and MEP 2014 (Student).. Also have REVIT 2014 (Student) and AutoCAD 2014 (Student).. Now my employer would like also me to do in house as-builts drawings of the actual piping installed on completed projects. Can you tell me which one of the Autodesk programs above is best suited for as-builts?
