Given segment AB with endpoints A(2x, 4y) and B(10, 22), what is the midpoint?

Directrix (directrix):

Find the average of the two x-coordinates of the endpoints. That is, (2x + 10) / 2 --> That is the x-coordinate of the midpoint. Then, find the average of the two y-coordinates of the endpoints. That is, (4y + 22) / 2 --> That is the y-coordinate of the midpoint.
