Please help. What are the intercepts of the equation 4x - 6y -5z = 60 a.(15, 0, 0), (0, 10, 0), (0, 0, 12) b.(–15, 0, 0), (0, –10, 0), (0, 0, 12) c.(–15, 0, 0), (0, 10, 0), (0, 0, –12) d.(15, 0, 0), (0, –10, 0), (0, 0, –12)

a

OpenStudy (jkbo):

Can you tell me how you got A.?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Ok As you see there is 4x so if you multiply that by 15 you get 60. And the rest are zero. And so the next problem is 6y-5z.The y in the 6y will equal 10 and since that equals 10, 6 times 10 equals 60. And so for 5z, the z in 5z equals 12 because 5 times 12 equals 60.

OpenStudy (jkbo):

o ok thank you I was putting them all together
