rate of change between points A and B =\[\frac{ y_B - y_A }{x_B-x_A }\]
Let point A be (1,4). What is \[x_A\] and\[y_A\]?
well x_A =1 and y_A=4 Substitute in the equation of rate of change values of coordinates, no matter whether you choose first point as A or not
Do you know how to do that?
well it's \[\frac{ 3-1 }{ 20-6.2 }\]
