OpenStudy (anonymous):

If 60 minutes on a clock is equivalent to 360 degrees, how could I get the value of 35 minutes in degrees so that I may use it in the formula s=rθ where: s=arc length, r=radius, θ=angle theta in radians

OpenStudy (amistre64):

35/60 is a percentage of the circle

OpenStudy (amistre64):

2pi * 35/60 gives you the equivalent portion of a circle of 2pi radians

OpenStudy (amistre64):

soo, 35 minutes is 1.166667 radians

OpenStudy (amistre64):

i dropped a pi for some reason ....

OpenStudy (amistre64):

1.16667 pi would be the angle measure in radians
