a wheel has a radius of 9 inches. If the wheel is rolled on a flat surface. How many revolution will it take for the wheel to travel 900pie inches?

OpenStudy (mertsj):

How far does it go in 1revolution? That would be the circumference.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

If I am correct, that would be 18pie. I got that from calculated the circumference. Do I need to multiply or divide that by the 900 revolutions. If so, could you give me an explanation to why? I won't remember otherwise.
