Write the equation of a line in slope-intercept form passing through (4, 5) and (6, 8)

OpenStudy (jhannybean):

@terenzreignz

terenzreignz (terenzreignz):

Seriously? :/

terenzreignz (terenzreignz):

lol okay @luis_steez the first thing we need to do is find the slope of this blasted line :D Do you know how to do this?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

a little bit

terenzreignz (terenzreignz):

Okay, please find its slope :)

terenzreignz (terenzreignz):

If you're stuck, the slope is simply the difference of the y-values divided by the difference of the x-values.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

cant seem to figure it out

terenzreignz (terenzreignz):

What is the difference of the two y-values?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

slope=y2-y1/x2-x1

OpenStudy (anonymous):

slope =3/2..

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i got it right even tho i guess. thanks tho
