Can someone please help me on these 2 Geometry questions???

you need to look first the triangles inside your prism

the little triangle is the one on the bottom, it is rectangular and you know two of it's sides
by using the pythagorean theorem, you can find the BC side
\[4^{2} + 4^{2} = BC ^{2}\]
and you apply the same theorem on the big triangle ABC
\[AC ^{2} + BC ^{2} = AB ^{2}\]
you can find the BC from the first picture and equation, and you know that AB is 7 inches
