I got B but it said it was wrong

ganeshie8 (ganeshie8):

left triangle is SAS right triangle is SSA they dont match at all

OpenStudy (ivettef365):

AA

ganeshie8 (ganeshie8):

only one angle is congruent so you cannot use AA similarity also.

OpenStudy (ivettef365):

In two triangles, if two pairs of corresponding angles are congruent, then the triangles are similar you are right

OpenStudy (anonymous):

that is what I was thinking you need two angles for the AA postulate to be considered

ganeshie8 (ganeshie8):

SSS is not at all a remotely possible option

ganeshie8 (ganeshie8):

go with D, they cannot be proven similar

OpenStudy (anonymous):

but the triangles are similar... proportionally

@satellite73

OpenStudy (ivettef365):

you can not tell if the triangles are similar because the side with the 20 goes with the side with no value on the other triangle, same thing with the side of 25 and the side with the 4 goes with the side of 25
