how do I write this in standard form 9+4x

Directrix (directrix):

Standard Form: the standard form of a line is in the form Ax + By = C where A is a positive integer, and B, and C are integers. The answer given above by @e.cociuba is incorrect. http://tinyurl.com/26h4htm Note: y=mx+b is the slope, y-intercept form of a line. The posted expression: 9+4x is not an equation so I do not know what you were instructed to do. Please check to see that the problem is posted correctly. Thanks. @nenaa_cruz
