Egypt, espically Cairo is one of the country in Africia that is closest to the nearest European country.
The difference between the middle of Egypt and Cairo is 224.55 miles, according to that website.
I believe Greece is the European country that is closest to Egypt.
The distance between Egypt and the center of Greece, according to that website is 822.13 miles.
822.13 miles is definetly shorter compared to 2072.16 miles.
