Suppose the factors of a polynomial are (x - 2) (x + 1) (x - 3). Sketch a rough graph of the polynomial. Can someone explain me how to do it please Im so confused?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

well i start with the zero points which are at 2,-1 and 3

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I was confused because i thought i needed to use the foil method.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes after you have the zero points you need the extrema and for this you need to use the foil method

OpenStudy (anonymous):

depends on what they mean with "rough"
