You see these pretty white rings around every users pic? Well it is very bland, how bout we make it all nice and pretty and add colors to it, better yet why not add new colors to the ranking system?

It should be very easy, even someone with no coding exerience could probably do it if I am not mistaken, right now there is a 5 (maybe 4 I forgot) tier ranking system and if we added more we could make more colors! COLORS COLORS COLORS!!!

They used to be colorful, until OS decided to be more consistent. We had fun frames around usernames too.

I doubt it has to do so much with being uniform. More things you have scripts doing, the slower things go. So they may be sacrificing some frills while trying to clean up the interface issues with performance and reliability.

Just a suggestion @dumbsearch2 I mean let's be honest, OS has a priority list and nothing on it has been accomplished, and @e.mccormick there are worse things out there that make OS slower than a couple colors, I am sure if this were to ever be implemented OS would have had MAJOR changes to the client-side and the server-side code which would enable it to go faster and clog up less.

True True, but I am referring to a concept, we all know this is a minimal touch to add on to OpenStudy so that means if and when the Hackathon comes along the big stuff are changed we could start revising the tier levels and SS system, it has some flaws and such but it could be fixed.
