Christianity sprung from Judaism, but was considered significantly different at the time. The first half of the Christian Bible (Old testament) is the Jewish bible basically.

Judaism. Jesus was born a jew the main religion back then was Judaism, yet Jesus change that he was that the jews believed as the Mosiah (Hebrew), and the meaning of Mosiah is "saviour". And alot of jews converted to Christianity Christians believe everything that jews do just the added jesus as the son of god A.K.A : Mosiah and the have there own holy book has everything the jews book has whitch is called the Torah in the bible its the old testament. Christians just add the new testament which about Jesus. Jews belive that jesus was a great profit but not gods son. And they only have the old testament of the bible
