Every geometric Serie \[\sum_{n}^{} q^{n}\] with \[q \in \mathbb{R}\] convergent. is it true or false ?

if q is for instance 2 then you have \[2^1+2^2+2^3+...\] Do you think it's convergent?

no it s not possible :) so every geometric serie is not convgent thx
