Mass cannot change. 

A body can speed up if the direction of travel and the force is in the same direction
A body can rotate if there is a net torque. 
It can also change direction, like hitting the ball with a bat.

Unless you're dealing with special relativity, then arguably the math says that the mass increases because for the same force, acceleration decreases, but it's just the math talking.
