Choose the definition of: Anteroom B. A room inside a room C. A laundry room D. A room outside the house

OpenStudy (zale101):

Ante- a prefix meaning “before"

a room giving entrance to a larger room, often used as a waiting room. So i would say B: A room inside a room. Most waiting rooms are exactly that A pretty descent sized room your wait in before entering the office or what ever http://lmgtfy.com/?q=Definition+of+%22Anteroom%22

First I chose A. waiting room- that was wrong. Second I chose B. a room inside of a room- that was wrong. I am confused because I felt both of those define and anteroom. I don't think it would be a room outside of the house?!?!?! Maybe a laundry room (a room leading into another room) BUT I am baffled by this one. Unless the auto scoring at my academy is wrong.
