someone plz help me... What is the vertex of the graph of y = 5(x + 4)2 + 3? (–4, 3) (4, 3) (3, 4) (3, –4)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Change the equation to vertex form by carrying the 3 over. y-3=5(x+4) So you're vertex is -4,3

OpenStudy (jdoe0001):

hmm, the equation is already in vertex form

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thank you

OpenStudy (anonymous):

oh! You're right @jdoe0001

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i was thinking it was (3,-4) but i wasnt sure
